Pratical Personal Styling

A comprehensive programme that combines theoretical knowledge, methodology, and practical application to develop a professional approach to Personal Styling.

The course is divided into two modules: Theory and Practical Training. They can be purchased together or separately.

PRACTICAL TRAINING 

During the practical training, participants will have the opportunity to carry out complete Personal Styling consultations through role-playing activities, under the guidance and supervision of the lecturer. This hands-on experience enables them to apply the methodology in real-world scenarios and build confidence in their professional skills.

The first day is dedicated to developing a personalised styling project in the classroom. The second day focuses on practical fieldwork, featuring realistic consultation simulations followed by a final review and discussion of the results with the lecturer.

Two days of in-person practical training in Milan (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM), followed by one month of tutor support.

To ensure a focused learning experience and allow sufficient individual attention, practical classes are limited to 24 participants.

There is no need to bring your own professional equipment: all tools required for the practical sessions will be made available by the Institute for use in class.

Day 1 – Mood Board & Image Consulting Project

In the classroom, participants will develop a complete image consulting project based on real clients, covering every aspect of the consultation, from the color palette and personal style to beauty recommendations and dress codes. This essential practical exercise is designed to strengthen both strategic thinking and professional methodology.

Day 2 – Personal Shopping & Role-Playing

At Humana Vintage stores, participants will simulate a complete consultation with a real client, gaining first-hand experience in managing the client relationship, selecting garments, and building a cohesive personal style. The session concludes with a review and discussion of each participant’s work, guided by the lecturer.

The course is open to everyone and provides the essential knowledge, skills, and professional tools for those entering the world of Image Consulting for the first time.

It is also designed for industry professionals, such as personal shoppers, stylists, and image consultants who wish to expand their expertise and broaden the range of services they offer.

Maria Rosa Neri

Originally from Prato, Maria Rosa Neri spent over twenty years managing an international apparel brokerage company focused on foreign markets. For more than fifteen years, she has worked as an Image Consultant.

She is an entrepreneur, coach and trainer specialising in education and communication, and holds a Master’s qualification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

She collaborates with the Italian Image Institute as a lecturer for all courses within the Image Consultant Diploma programme and for several courses of the Image Consultant Master programme, overseeing training in Color Analysis, Body & Face Shape, Personal Styling, and Fabrics.

For this reason, in September 2023, Humana People to People Italia and Italian Image Institute launched a unique partnership. This collaboration will involve the joint development of training courses that increasingly focus on sustainability, as well as support for social and environmental projects.
